Our History
From humble beginnings the current director Frank Pirreca commenced a small electrical contracting business as a sole trader, with an increase in business he formed FIP Electrical Pty Ltd diversifying from small domestic projects, automation control systems and general electrical maintenance to more retail and commercial projects.
With the growth of the business FIP Electrical Pty Ltd opened new offices in Alexandria, expanding the operation to include complete shopping centres, railway installations and industrial works. Our continued clients consisted of Westfield, Mirvac, John Holland, Transfield Lend Lease.
On the successful completion of Australia’s latest underground railway and station construction (Airport Link) at the time, the evolution of the business and increase in staff required the need of larger premises, hence our new head office and warehouse was built at Mortlake.
With the continued support of our blue-chip clientele base, there was a need to branch out into QLD with the opening of the FIP Electrical Pty Ltd office and warehouse at Kingston.
Duplicating the same business model as our NSW operation the natural growth throughout QLD has cemented our permanent position in QLD.
With the awarding of Maroochydore State High School and the Sunshine University Hospital there was a need to have a constant presence and to strengthen our position in the northern area of Brisbane we opened our office on the Sunshine Coast
We developed a solid design team and we are one of the industry leaders utilising BIM/Revit in our design process.
Continuing with a steady growth in business from our regular clients throughout NSW and QLD, it was only a natural progression to commenced a small operation in Melbourne.
Expansion of the Service Department with the awarding of the routine and maintenance contract for Sydney trains maintaining every railway station and stabling yard throughout NSW.
