The Meridan State College project involved the fast-track design and construction of nine new buildings. The project set a Department of Education and Training benchmark for the design of facilities intended for students and staffs.
Located west of Caloundra and surrounded by rainforest, the project was a part of the Building Education Revolution funded by the Federal Government and comprised the following scope of works:
- new students sports and recreation centre
- senior catering extension unit
- specialised education unit
- staff development centre
- senior science and discovery centre
- creative arts and business studies centre
- industrial technology centre
- refurbishment of the executive area.
