Sunshine Coast University Hospital (QLD)

This 738-bed public tertiary teaching hospital is being delivered using a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) delivery model.

The Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH) site spans approximately 20 hectares at Kawana on the Sunshine Coast. The project includes design and construction of:

  • 12,000 m2 Main Hospital Building (MHB)
  • 30,000 m2 Skills, Academic and Research Centre (SARC)
  • 3,350 Car parks located in 2 multi-level above ground carparks (CP1 and CP2)
  • 4,500 m2 Mental Health Unit (MHU)
  • 6,800 m2 Facilities Management Centre (FMC) and central energy plant
  • 100 child day-care facility
  • Parklands, and
  • Supporting infrastructures such as roads and utilities.
